Survey about the merger of unions
Today a survey among members of three unions; Aldan, Samstaða and Verslunarmannafélag Skagafjarðar, about merging into one union. The chairpersons have met on a regular basis, with a mandate from their respective boards. So far, they have not come across any big obstacles indicating that the process should be terminated.
Before proceeding any further, the chairpersons would like to inform their members and call for their opinions on if to continue or not. A brochure has been sent to all members’ home address and English and Polish translations of the brochures can be found below.
Open for a week
The survey opens at 13:00 Thursday, May 21 and ends a week later, Thursday May 28 at 13:00.
In order to take part, members need to log in using electronic certification. Individual answers are confidential and cannot be traced to individuals.
